Hoffenheim fires American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo after poor start to season

SINSHEIM, Germany (AP) — German club Hoffenheim fired American coach Pellegrino Matarazzo on Monday with the team sliding toward the Bundesliga relegation zone and failing to score in its last three league games.
